The Idiomatic Labs LLC is an educational technology company based in Texas. We develop digital tools for modern language learning.
We believe technology should make language education more personal, more practical and closer to the way people actually communicate. Our products combine structured learning, real-world communication practice and intelligent personalization, so that learners move beyond translation and actually use the language.

The measure of learning is what you can do with a language: hold a conversation, solve a problem, make a friend.

We design for active use. Learners recall, say and write the language, not only read it or recognize it.

Technology should make good teaching more personal and more available, and it should never get in the way of a clear explanation.
Using technology responsibly
Some features of our products use artificial intelligence, for example to give feedback on an answer or to act as a conversation partner. We say so where it happens, and an AI-generated voice is always presented as one.
The Expat's Privacy Policy explains what the app collects and why, and its Terms of Service set out how it may be used. Both are still drafts while the app is in private testing.
